NCSU Research Looks at Using Herbal Oils to Kill Pathogens on Produce

The News & Observer has an article today discussing the exciting research being conducted by North Carolina State University that is looking at using herbal oils to kill pathogens on produce and reduce the potential for food-borne illnesses. The project is in collaboration with the University of Tennessee and is funded by the National Institute of Food and Agriculture, Organic Agriculture Research and Extension Initiative. The primary audience for this research is organic farmers but could benefit all farmers.
